| In a phrase, the Christkindlmarket Chicago is "the largest and most renowned German winter holiday market in the United States."
From Thanksgiving Day through Christmas Eve, over 30 local and international vendors sell their wares from authentic German cabins modelled after the original market in Nuremburg, Germany. Over 500,000 visitors from around the world flock to Chicago every year to enjoy the activities, performances, shop and savor German food and drink. Criterion's founder worked with the 2003, 2004 and 2005 Christkindlmarkets. We were delighted to return in 2007 and continue our association with this great event. Criterion provides critical support services for the Market: MANAGEMENT: We produce the site plan and master production schedule for the market and assist in planning and coordination with city departments and facility management. On-site management during the market. OPERATIONS: We coordinate maintenance that is required on the cabins and the shipping and storage of the market during the off-season.
