Do-Division Festival
The Do-Division Festival premiered in August 2007 in conjunction with the Renegade Craft Fair to showcase the transformed neighborhood along Division Street, West of Ashland. The area had improved and was no longer the slum that most people (including us) assumed it was - it had become an interesting and lively neighborhood.

The event site (including the Renegade Craft Fair) sprawled over half a mile of Division Street. The Do-Division half had 2 stages, 9 restaurant booths and 50 vendors. Criterion was approached to handle the logistics of the Do-Division event and elements shared by both events. In 2008, the two events separated and Do-Division was reborn as a Spring event.

For 2008, Criterion's role expanded. Criterion became involved in the overall planning of the event and not only coordinated and executed all of the logistical elements, but also recruited all of the vendors and restaurants. The 2008 event grew to 10 restaurants and over 60 vendors. Income from vendor rentals also increased by 50% due to effective recruitment techniques and pricing structures.

In 2009 vendor recruitment was internalized by the chamber but we have otherwise continued in our expanded role as the event has grown and evolved.
